DUE TO A SERIOUS OUTBREAK OF THE VIRUS CANINE INFLUENZA H3N2 IN THE LA COUNTY, WE WILL BE REQUIRING EVERY COMPETITOR TO SHOW PROOF OF THEIR DOG’S FIRST SHOT AT THE TIME OF ARRIVAL TO THE SHOW GROUNDS. THIS VACCINE REQUIRES TWO SHOTS FOR FULL IMMUNITY, TWO TO THREE WEEKS APART, BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN THIS TRIAL WITH JUST THE FIRST. HOWEVER, BY THE DECEMBER TRIAL YOU WILL HAVE TO PROVE FULL VACCINATION. THIS DISEASE IS A SERIOUS ILLNESS, WHICH CAN LEAD TO PNEUMONIA AND DEATH AND AT THE LEAST MAKE YOUR DOG VERY VERY SICK FOR 4 – 6 WEEKS.
