DESCRIPTION:Barn Hunt Beginner Workshop \nThis is your chance to find out what this sport called Barn Hunt is all about. We will be holding a beginning barn hunt clinic Sunday the 10 of March\,  9am – 12pm. We will cover rules and how to play the game. During this time\, we ask you keep your dog in the car or a crate.  We will also hold demonstrations with an experienced dog.  Then each dog will be allowed to have 2 runs of Instinct. The first run will be a training run and if your dog shows interest\, the second run will be timed and run as it would be in a competition.   You will register upon arrival. DESCRIPTION:Come join us and some of our spooky friends for a spooktacular barn hunt October 23/24.  On Saturday we will have a costume contest.  There will be prizes for best costume on a human and best costume on a dog.  There will be a special prize for the best costumed team\, dog and handler.  Don’t miss out on the fun.  Get your entries in early. \n  \nATTENTION PLEASE!!!!!!!  DUE TO A SERIOUS OUTBREAK OF THE VIRUS CANINE INFLUENZA H3N2 IN THE LA COUNTY\, WE WILL BE REQUIRING EVERY COMPETITOR TO SHOW PROOF OF THEIR DOG’S FIRST SHOT AT THE TIME OF ARRIVAL TO THE SHOW GROUNDS.  THIS VACCINE REQUIRES TWO SHOTS FOR FULL IMMUNITY\, TWO TO THREE WEEKS APART\, BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN THIS TRIAL WITH JUST THE FIRST. SUMMARY:Barn Hunt Beginner's Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is designed to introduce you and your dog to the great sport of Barn Hunt.  We will go over the rules\, answer questions and then introduce your dog to the rats in tubes and teach him to hunt.  If you go to the training page\, you will find a short video of a dog hunting and marking the rat tube when he finds it.  Dogs love running and jumping on the bales of straw\, all the while tracking down the hidden tube with the rat in it. Come join us for a day of fun with your dog. You can register and pay online\, or do so when you arrive at the ranch.
